The Grizzly Gravel & Century Rides


The Grizzly Century (100 miles) 

Over 10,000-foot elevation gain. You will ride past Redinger Lake, Pass Mile High Vista, Eagles Break Peak, Beasore Meadow Arch Rock, granite domes, the red fir forests of Cold Springs Summit, speedily descend to Bass Lake, then back to North Fork. GPS Route.

The Grizzly Metric Century (100K = 63 miles) 

A 6,600-foot elevation gain. North Fork past Mile High Vista and back. Tremendous views of conifer forests, rock formations, Eagles Break and the high Sierra. GPS Route

Loop the Lake (24 miles) 

A 1,800-foot elevation gain around Bass Lake, the Pines Resort. Beautiful pines and quiet roads. Then return to the staging area after a beer at Miller’s Landing. GPS Route.

  • CHECK-IN: Friday, Oct. 4th from 3:00PM to 5:00PM or Saturday morning Oct. 5th, from 5:30AM to 10:00AM at North Fork Town Hall, 33060 Rd 228, North Fork, Ca. 93643
  • Breakfast served from 6:00AM to 10:00AM
  • Long gravel route and Century start time: 7:00AM (but no later than 8:00AM)
  • Metric Century start time: 8:00AM
  • Short gravel route start time: 9:00AM
  • Loop the Lake start time: 10:00AM
  • Post-ride meal starting at 1:30PM
    • When you finish your ride, all riders must check in at Town Hall to get their meal ticket & beer ticket whether eating or not. This is to ensure that all riders are accounted for 
  • Course closes and post ride meal ends at 5:00PM
    • For everyone’s safety, please observe this time. Our SAGs will assist you in getting back to the staging area. Your cooperation is appreciated.
