The Grizzly Gravel & Century Rides

October 5, 2024 | North Fork, CA

The Sierra Vista Scenic Byway Association & The Community of North Fork are excited to present the 29th Annual Grizzly Gravel & Century Charity rides on Saturday October 2024. This fundraising ride is the only source of income for the Sierra Vista Scenic Byway Association. Every penny of profit goes to them!

Road Riders, you will be treated to gorgeous views of Redinger and Mammoth Pool lakes, many exposed granite domes, Eagle Beaks Peak, the Sierra National Forest, Beasore Meadow and more. Come and spend the day taking in the scenic vistas from the unique vantage point that only a cyclist can claim.

Gravel Riders will enjoy the tranquil climb in the forests’ shade, granite domes and many meadows. The climb is long, but gentle railroad grade fire road. You will descend the dirt portion on the Scenic Byway, few ever see. Rated as the 2nd Best Ride in 2023 by Gravel Bike California, this is a ride that you don’t want to miss.

The Scenic Byway continues to need cyclist’s support to improve areas scarred by historic fires. Profits earned go directly to the Scenic Byway and other projects that benefit our community of North Fork.

Three road options from, either the classic 100 mi Century, a 65 mi Metric Century, or the 25 mi Loop the Lake around beautiful Bass Lake.

Take the road less traveled up Central Camp Rd on either the 60+ mi Long Gravel ride or the shorter 40+ mi ride.
